Tropical Storm Gordon continues to strengthen, now a 60 mph storm
As of 11 a.m. Monday, Tropical Storm Gordon's maximum sustained winds have increased to 60 mph. The storm is moving northwest at 14 mph, and is expected to continue to strengthen as it approaches the Gulf Coast. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from Cameron, Louisiana, to the Alabama/Florida border.
