CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Guardians have recalled catcher Bo Naylor from Triple-A Columbus, the team announced Monday.
Naylor, 22, is the younger brother of former Indians outfielder Josh Naylor. He was acquired by the Guardians in a trade with the San Diego Padres in 2020.
Naylor is a highly regarded prospect, ranked as the No. 15 prospect in the Guardians' organization by MLB Pipeline. He has impressed with his bat this season, batting .285 with a .381 on-base percentage and a .860 OPS in 38 games at Columbus.
Naylor is expected to make his Major League debut on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs.
